Jonathan is a recently graduated illustrator based in north east England with a focus on creating imaginative illustrative content that evokes atmosphere and character.

 

Nature and wildlife have played a big role in inspiration and themes for their previous work, ranging from children's book art to nature reserve projects. Across all subjects and themes, however, Jonathan enjoys delving deep into background research to get the feel of a project and how to best use imagery to convey its ideas and story.

 

Their work has been featured on ITV1's This Time Next Year when they illustrated children's book Snowdrop the Spikeshuffler by author Peter Barron which went on to become an Amazon bestseller in 2019. Jonathan studied BA Hons Graphic Design & Illustration at the MIMA School of Art & Design, Teesside University where he graduated in 2021.
